FIM Mini GP Alpe Adria Series - Cheb 14. - 15. 8. 2021

 On 14 and 15 August 2021, the races will take place in Kartarena Cheb, which annually hosts the MMCR MMiniracing, ADAC Minibike Cup and has hosted European Championship races in the past.

The weekend also includes the MMČR Miniracing.
14. a 15. 8. 2021 se uskuteční závody v Kartaréně Cheb, která každoročně hostí MMČR MMiniracing, ADAC Minibike Cup a na které se odjeli v minulosti i závody Mistrovství Evropy.

Součástí víkendu je také MMČR Miniracing.

With the creation of the FIM MiniGP World Series, the FIM, together with the national federations and Dorna, aims to provide riders around the world with a unique and standardised way to start their career in motorcycle road racing. Throughout the season, riders on OHVALE GP-0 160 motorcycles will compete in national rounds, with the top three advancing to the finals, which will take place in mid-November at MotoGP Valencia. The winner is assured of a ticket to the Northern Talent Cup or other international road racing hopefuls from the Road to MotoGP programme.

Vytvořením světového seriálu FIM MiniGP se FIM společně s národními federacemi a společností Dorna snaží poskytnout jezdcům po celém světě jedinečný a standardizovaný způsob, jak začít svou kariéru v silničních závodech motocyklů. V rámci sezóny se závodníci na motocyklech OHVALE GP-0 160 poměří v národních kolech, první tři pak postupují do finále, které se uskuteční v polovině listopadu v rámci MotoGP ve Valencii. Vítěz má zajištěnou vstupenku do Northern Talent Cupu nebo dalších mezinárodních seriálů nadějí silničních závodů motocyklů z programu Road to MotoGP.

Matěj Smrž was at the birth of MiniGP on behalf of the FIM Road Racing Commission, not only as a member of the working group preparing the championship, but also as a representative of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic in the AAMU. "I am very happy that a brand new world championship for drivers aged 10 to 14 will start this year. And it's great that Czech hopefuls will also be able to participate in the FIM MiniGP Alpe Adria Series, a union that brings together 11 national federations, including the Autoclub of the Czech Republic. There will be four races, two in Slovakia, one in the Czech Republic and the last race will be hosted by Croatia. The representation of Czech drivers looks very promising, and although it was not at all easy, everything has been agreed for this year," informed Matěj Smrž.

U zrodu MiniGP byl Matěj Smrž za Komisi silničních závodů ve FIM nejen jako člen pracovní skupiny připravující šampionát, ale i jako zástupce Autoklubu ČR v AAMU. „Mám obrovskou radost, že se zbrusu nový světový šampionát pro jezdce ve věku od 10 do 14 let rozjede už letos. A je skvělé, že se ho budou moci účastnit i české naděje v rámci FIM MiniGP Alpe Adria Series, tedy unie, která sdružuje 11 národních federací, včetně Autoklubu ČR. Odjedou se čtyři podniky, dva na Slovensku, jeden v České republice a poslední závod bude hostit Chorvatsko. Zastoupení českých jezdců vypadá velmi slibně, a i když to nebylo vůbec jednoduché, podařilo se vše domluvit už pro letošní rok,“ informoval Matěj Smrž.

From the joint date I expect another great popularization among the youngest people interested in motorcycle road racing," added Aleš Eder, Miniracing Czech Republic representative in the SZM Commission. Miniracing is becoming more and more popular in our country, also thanks to the changes made by Miniracing Czech Republic under the banner of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic, which led to a very good filling of the starting grids.

„V Alpe Adria sérii MiniGP máme nejsilnější jezdeckou základnu, celkem devět startujících. Závod v České republice se pojede v polovině srpna v Chebu, kde se zároveň bude konat podnik Mezinárodního mistrovství České republiky v Miniracingu. Od společného termínu očekávám další skvělou popularizaci mezi nejmladšími zájemci o silniční závody motocyklů,“ doplnil Aleš Eder, zástupce Miniracing Czech Republic v komisi SZM. Miniracing je u nás přitom stále populárnější, i díky provedeným změnám, které zkvalitněním Miniracing Czech Republic pod hlavičkou Autoklubu ČR vedlo k velice dobrému zaplnění startovních roštů.

Alpe Adria is starting to function again and it is clear that the new management is really serious about the future of this motorcycle union and I am even more pleased when Matěj's brother Jakub Smrž is the deputy president. I wish the Czech MiniGP representatives the best results and I firmly believe that we will see the winners in the final races in Valencia in November!" said Jan Št'ovíček, President of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic and member of the Board of Directors of the International Motorcycle Federation FIM.
